It makes me feel warm and fuzzy to see another poly group that works well. I don't think most people realize how much work it takes to keep a poly relationship fair and to manage all the communication necessary. I think it's actually harder than keeping up a monogamous relationship. Definitely not for everyone, but quite rewarding when it does work. Shit, this is supposed to be a question, um .. .. Does it take a lot of work on your part to keep up with both mates' feelings and needs?

Q: Does it take a lot of work on your part to keep up with both mates’ feelings and needs?

A: Yes.

Its a constant with my primary. We talk all the time and are very open about how we feel. Actually, all three of us are. We have to be if we want things to work… and we all know it. So its really a team effort all around to keep things running smooth and happy,

My secondary and I are still really close emotionally, but he relies on his base with his wife. Not on me. So we get to have a lot of the fun of the relationship, but with very select draw backs as far as what we have to deal with. (usually his wife deals with the venting from life situations. I only get it when i am around when something first goes down.)

Every weekend its trying to figure out if i spend my friday with both my boys or do I just go up and spend some one on one.
